WORLD WAR II AND HOLOCAUST – CHEMICAL AND DRUG CARTEL RESPONSIBLE

In academia, one who readily suggests that a phenomenon, a historical event as absolute, as closed case, and need no further research, must be a joker. Yet, this was exactly the case when President Ahmadinejad was invited to address the faculty and students of Columbia University on 24 Sep 07. Among the many others, the moderator Mr John Coatsworth when putting forward a question on the Holocaust to the Iranian President, argued that the historical event was "a result of the actions of the German Nazi government", and that the facts were well documented. Ahmadinejad had suggested that the Holocaust be opened to more research on the root cause. Coatsworth countered by saying, "calling for research into the facts when the facts are so well established represents for many a challenging of the facts themselves and a denial that something terrible occurred in Europe in those years".

We refer to the news report in the Star, "Government Mulls Over Fast Food Ban", also carried in Malaysiakini on 17 February 07. As a Society campaigning for good health naturally, we strongly support the Health Ministers call to consider a ban on fast food advertisement. Besides that we strongly suggest the health Ministry concurrently runs a educational campaign against junk food.

The tag team assault on health freedom by controlling food supplements has been on going in Europe and America. (Please read the attachment article). The European Union has issued EU Parliamentary Directive to control food supplements to regulate them strictly like drugs – meaning manufacturers have to show proof of safety (eventhough nutrients have been ingested since time memorial and that those nutrients are naturally occuring in foods. Isn't it ridiculous?)

VIOXX RECALL – STORM IN THE WEST, EERIE CALM IN THE EAST

On 30 Sep 04, Vioxx, the popular arthritis and acute pain drug, was withdrawn from the market. The reason, as CEO of Merck & Co (manufacturer of the drug), Raymond V. Gilmartin put it, "was an increased relative risk for confirmed cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke".
