The starting
point is the advertisement placed in The New York Times on
6 May 2005, entitled, “Stop AIDS Genocide By the Drug Cartel!”,
and subsequently also in the International Herald Tribune,
by Dr Rath Health Foundation (go to www.dr-rath-foundation.org.za).
The outcome, if all truth are being told, can mean the demise
of the pharmaceutical industry’s multi-billion dollar business
with disease.
In February 2004,
Pope John Paul ll has made a statement accusing the pharma
cartel of committing genocide in Africa with patented AIDS
drugs.
According to
the said advertisement, 15 full blown AIDS patients who have
never been on ARV (anti-retroviral) drugs, were treated with
specific vitamins, amino acids, minerals, and polyphenols
extracts from green tea. Blood tests and clinical evaluation
were performed at the start and after 4 weeks on the nutrient
programme.
It was reported
that within a short 4 weeks, “all known immune system markers
– including CD4, total white blood cells, neutrophils, lymphocytes,
monocytes, significantly improved.
The scientists
responsible for the AIDS research in South Africa, whose research
protocol was accepted by the SA Health Ministry, are Alexandra
Niedzwiecki, PhD (Dr Rath Research Institute, USA), David
Rasnick, PhD (Dr Rath Health Foundation, South Africa), Prof
Sam Mhlongo, MD (Medical University of Southern Africa), and
Matthias Rath, MD.
The advertisement
in question has passed the scrutiny of the most litigatious
country of the world, ie USA. However in Malaysia, the New
Straits Times and The Star have declined to publish the ad.
We want to ask
– despite the failure of conventional treatment using ARV
drugs for AIDS, to even prolong the lives, during the past
two and half decades, why is the media abdicating its role
to inform the public of such new promising treatment? Shouldn’t
the editors and health journalists be keen to know if there
is such breakthrough in AIDS research? The facts as stated
in the said advertisement could easily be checked with a phone
call to the SA High Commission. We wait for the day of reckoning,
and hopefully soon, when SHAME is a much feared word.
Scientists and
AIDS researchers have only one course of action after this
– to replicate the study conducted by Dr Rath Research Institute
in collaboration with SA Ministry of Health, to either prove
or refute the findings. Are there any AIDS researchers left
out there with conscience to serve mankind?
