Ask what most adults die from in the Filipino city of Puerto Princesa and the answer you will get is, "high blood". More often than not, what they really mean is that the deaths are the result of heart attack or stroke. Figures at the City Health Office confirm this. Can something be done? Can the death statistics be reversed? The Dr. Rath Health Foundation, the only Health and Research organization in the world that dares to dream of Health for All by 2020, says Yes. Hearing this, visionary Mayor Edward S. Hagedorn invited the Foundation and its representatives to Puerto Princesa, saying "Come to my city and help me keep my people healthy."

In August 1947, two years after the end of the Second World War, twenty-four managers of the I.G. Farben pharmaceutical and chemical cartel appeared before an international war crimes tribunal in Nuremberg, Germany, to be charged with crimes including mass murder and crimes against humanity. The tribunal’s verdicts, delivered 11 months later, resulted in thirteen of the Farben defendants being given prison terms ranging from eighteen months to eight years.
NS DEATHS AND APPORTION OF BLAME

Having gone through military training myself, and later commissioned as an officer into the Royal Ranger Corp, and now practicing naturopathic medicine, I would like to contribute this discourse, heart to heart especially to parents, without medical jargons. Hopefully we are all enlightened and wiser.

On April 2, 2008 CNN spent the day bringing awareness to the problem of autism. Larry King's segment, which included Jenny McCarthy along with a panel of guests, was particularly enlightening. My hat is off to Jenny, a celebrity mother who is making it quite uncomfortable for the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to ignore parents of Autistic children seeking answers.

What a terribly difficult year it's been. I have not blogged since Nov 2006 simply because my vision was reduced to 30% by cataracts.I was involved in a freak accident while riding my Harley Davidson which resulted in a pile-up of 8 motorcycles. I went into a coma for 20 days. When I woke up, both my hands were stiff. The doctor dismissed it and said it would wear off. About two weeks later my feet grew stiff. A month later my knees went stiff and finally my back. I walked like a robot and felt as stiff as tree.

In academia, one who readily suggests that a phenomenon, a historical event as absolute, as closed case, and need no further research, must be a joker. Yet, this was exactly the case when President Ahmadinejad was invited to address the faculty and students of Columbia University on 24 Sep 07. Among the many others, the moderator Mr John Coatsworth when putting forward a question on the Holocaust to the Iranian President, argued that the historical event was "a result of the actions of the German Nazi government", and that the facts were well documented. Ahmadinejad had suggested that the Holocaust be opened to more research on the root cause. Coatsworth countered by saying, "calling for research into the facts when the facts are so well established represents for many a challenging of the facts themselves and a denial that something terrible occurred in Europe in those years".

The European Union has issued EU Parliamentary Directive to control food supplements to regulate them strictly like drugs – meaning manufacturers have to show proof of safety (eventhough nutrients have been ingested since time memorial and that those nutrients are naturally occuring in foods. Isn't it ridiculous?)
